Yeah, they probably overestimate the total draw a bit. For a beginner that's fine. It's better to end up with more than just enough.

If you get a decent power supply, it will be tough to purchase insufficient wattage. Also, PSU calculators tend to push overspending.

The calculator was off by 60 watts. Do you know how long it would take a 60-watt kettle to heat one litre of water?

Do you understand the number I mentioned was an overestimation when considering the maximum power draw?
PSU calculators give a misleading view and mainly serve as marketing or sales tools.
Many individuals have purchased low-quality 750-watt PSUs based on these calculations.
Aubd PSUs focus more on quality than just wattage.

Yeah, but it's a rough estimate and pretty tight. I've also shared the PSU tier list with him. What should people do? We're relying on the tools we have. If you don't like the calculators available, make your own. Good luck, OP.
