Yeah, they probably overestimate the total draw a bit. For a beginner that's fine. It's better to end up with more than just enough.

If you get a decent power supply, it will be tough to purchase insufficient wattage. Also, PSU calculators tend to push overspending.

Aubd PSUs focus more on quality than just wattage.

Yeah, but it's a rough estimate and pretty tight. I've also shared the PSU tier list with him. What should people do? We're relying on the tools we have. If you don't like the calculators available, make your own. Good luck, OP.
