Fps %1 Low drops immediately to 10 fps from 200
Hello everyone!
This is my first message to the forum after a long time, and I’m surprised how much I miss it.
To make things clearer, I’ll share a link to a gameplay video and some benchmark results so you can better understand the issue. In the video, you’ll see that my frame rate drops from 240 fps to just 10 fps, which leads to stuttering in the game.

This problem happens specifically when I play PUBG. Although I don’t play many other games, the ones I have played so far run smoothly.
Here’s my setup:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
CPU cooler: Asus Rog Strix LC 2 240
Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix B550-f Gaming wifi ii
RAM: G-Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16 GB DDR4 3600mhz CL16
SSD: Kingston SKC3000D2048G 2TB
GPU: Asus Rog Strix RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC 8GB GDDR6X 256 Bit
PSU: Asus Rog Thor 850W 80+ Platinum
OS: Windows 11 Pro
Monitor: BENQ EX270M 240Hz 1080p
Bios, chipset and all drivers are up to date.
I’ve tried various solutions but haven’t found a fix. Do you have any suggestions on what might be causing this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Run Task Manager and Resource Monitor to track system performance during gaming. Use each tool separately but keep only one open at a time. Stay in the window until the system remains steady—no changes. Then play normally and observe any shifts in the tool window during stuttering. It might require some testing to figure out what’s causing the issue, such as background apps trying to update or save. A useful resource is Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) – https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint...s-explorer. The main goal is to identify which system resources are being used and how they affect performance when stuttering happens.
Thank you for the update. From what I observed earlier with HWinfo and similar tools, there were no unusual readings like temperature, clock time, or pings that concerned me. Everything seemed normal except for a significant drop in FPS.
