Four short sounds during initialization of the B550 chipset
Curry's PC World is making it tough to find help for my problem. I think I need to visit Curry's or Corsair for advice, but neither seems to have any guidance. I suspect the motherboard model is ROG Strix X570-F Gaming. The guide says a long beep followed by three short ones, which suggests no VGA connection—this seems odd. After rebooting, there were no beeps at all. Could it really mean my monitor wasn't connected?
You should follow the steps provided to tackle the problem effectively.
You attempt one memory stick in slot A2 following the CMOS reset. This appears to be my initial action.
It seems your system is showing a beep code indicating a boot failure and a graphics card detection issue. According to the manual, the problem might be related to your GPU not being recognized. Try re-seating the graphics card and verify that all power connections are properly connected. The error is noted as a VGA/graphics-related issue, not a memory fault.
It's interesting they classify it as a GPU error despite a memory problem lasting two days. I think we should look into fixing it, often by reseating components or swapping out system memory. This isn't directly related to the graphics card except that the board needs to pass all memory checks before starting and passing the VGA test. Also, keep in mind the "First Post" warning—wouldn't want to buy from Curry's PC World if they don't share the system status beforehand to confirm it works. That's my take so far. EDIT: Also @NunoLava1998 - We can find the codes and beeps from a thread I made some time ago for reference in the forum's troubleshooting section. AMI Beep codes -
