Hi, your Ryzen 2600 is struggling with the new RAM setup. The inconsistencies and crashes suggest it might not be handling the higher memory speeds well. You may need to downgrade to a CPU that supports more stable performance under those conditions. For a B450 Mortar max, consider upgrading to something like an AMD Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 with better memory support.

Run them at 2666 and gradually increase the pace. Few Zen+ models support 4 sticks at 3200, probably.

From the suggested specs, it looks like CP 2077 doesn’t require much more than 16GB of memory

Focus on the available space first, as low memory is problematic. If the situation allows, check the capacity next; otherwise, it depends on usage. The speed difference exists, but it's hard to judge without testing.

It might work on your CPU, possibly the sticks aren't powerful enough for mixing kits, but it could still be a possibility. A 4x8GB at 2933MHz might outperform a 2x8GB at 3200MHz, though you should verify with benchmarks.

I would choose 2933 instead of going all the way to 2666, and adjust the SOC to 1.15v at 3200 if needed; otherwise try 1.175v, then proceed to 2933.
