bump, since I've encountered the same problem and nothing has resolved it yet, your help would be greatly appreciated: I've tried all the steps listed here without any improvement. I removed the trial completely and reinstalled it, which allowed me to bypass the splash screen (where I previously crashed). However, after reaching the loading circle in the empty black window (the Forza 7 loading screen), it starts spinning for a brief moment before crashing to the desktop. Interestingly, my system path matches the error message despite installing it for Drive 5 in my setup (500G NVMe storage).

Other details:
i9-9900k (ROG AI for 5GHz performance)
Rog Maximus Hero XI
16GB Trident Royal Z RGB
250GB M.2 NVMe boot, plus 500GB storage via SATA III SSD from previous system, along with all Mushkin drives
Asus Dual 011C 2080 ti
Windows 10 Home 64bit Build 1809
