Hey everyone, after purchasing and installing Forza Horizon 3, I quickly encountered two significant problems. I’m sharing my personal experiences in this order. First, the game would constantly reach around 70% utilization before crashing, even after selecting the preset it suggested for your PC. It would shut down without reason. After some tries, I updated my Radeon drivers to version 16.9.2 (believed). Setting it to run in windowed mode from the video settings resolved the issue. Second, the "Playground Games" logo would appear unexpectedly after hours of play—usually after building a second stadium in Horizon. While driving a Honda NSXR, I reached nearly half a mile from the city and got a blue screen. After restarting my PC, the problem reappeared: the game booted in windowed mode, zoomed in on the logo, went full screen, then closed abruptly. I tried uninstalling AVAST, but it didn’t help; even after reinstalling, the game froze and ended with the same logo. If you’re stuck, try running the game in windowed mode with fully updated drivers and Windows. If it still crashes on that logo, consider disabling AVAST—though I’m not sure if other antivirus programs work the same way. Thanks for your help!

Previously suggested Avast, now I’m avoiding it completely. It feels overly annoying—constantly popping up even when it wasn’t there before. You can’t turn off those alerts except by purchasing the full version. Not a good deal.
