It's not complicated at all, though it might seem that way. I've had a friend play Half Life 3 before, and she was just joking around. The title of this discussion really got me really pumped up!

Valve would face serious issues if they attempted to violate copyright and trademark rules. Second, Valve has been working on this for a long time—TF2 took years, so another attempt is premature.
