Had been completely prohibited in Fortnite for using a VPN (which isn’t worth the drawbacks). What occurs next is this—I reached out to Epic Games support and managed to get my account unblocked, but my PC remains restricted. When I messaged support about removing the ban from my machine, they stated they couldn’t lift it from my device. Since then, I’ve attempted every possible solution (none involving hardware components, since I play on a laptop) to regain access to Fortnite (including using an HWSPOOF). All attempts failed. I own both an SSD and an HDD, and I found online suggestions suggesting a hardware swap might clear the ban. However, I couldn’t connect the new drives to my PC, even with a removable disk. I’m considering replacing my old drives with a new HDD but hesitant to spend money without certainty. I’m curious if this actually works or if the ban extends further. It’s not an IP restriction, as I can still play on other devices using the same Wi-Fi network. My account is now active, and I can play on different devices too. Each time I try a new method, I create a fresh account at Epic Games to ensure previous accounts didn’t interfere.
Inquire with Epic about which hardware components are restricted. Or try a different game.
It might be a hidden file on your hard drive if it's on your computer. Search for all files generated by Epic Games and Fortnite. Remove every Epic Games and Fortnite program, then check for any leftover files and delete them. They could be concealed in several spots on your PC. If you're sure, reinstall Windows and wipe all drives if you're the only user.
I’ve completed removing all references to Epic Games, including organizing my 2 drivers. The system shows a HWID ban—hope adjusting the hard drives helps undo it, thank you.
