Fortnite Fps Drops,Textures not loading
Fortnite performance issues, specifically FPS drops, texture loading problems, and mouse input lag, are occurring despite stable frame rates at 144Hz on a Dell monitor. The problem manifests primarily within Fortnite and is not present in other games. Attempts to resolve the issue include reinstalling Fortnite, using DDU for clean driver installations, adjusting BIOS settings (C-states, EIST, XMP), modifying NVIDIA profile inspector settings, and adjusting in-game settings. Loading times are excessively long (approximately one minute). The system utilizes an 860 EVO 1TB SSD for games and a 250GB SandDisk drive for Windows and drivers. The user has already attempted several troubleshooting steps including disabling performance mode, VSync, and pre-rendered frames in the NVIDIA control panel.

“I'm experiencing persistent issues with game performance – specifically, frequent crashes and texture loading problems. I suspect it’s related to the anti-cheat software, which appears buggy and causing these disruptions. The strangest thing is that I can’t see weapon icons sometimes, and textures load intermittently. I’m considering a fresh Windows installation as a solution. My current setup includes an Intel i5 3670 @4.1ghz with 4x4gb DDR3 1600mhz 1660 super and a WD Blue 500gb SSD. I'm contemplating upgrading to a Samsung Pro SSD for my games. I’m worried about the anticheat programs causing ongoing problems.”
The game crashed repeatedly due to a corrupted save file. Reinstalling the game fixed this issue. The graphical enhancements were achieved through updating drivers and optimizing settings within the game's options menu. There were no significant issues with the system itself.
Please tell me how you fixed it step by step im having the exact same problem
Believe me this is not a hardware issue or a issue with windows doing these things in the game files most likely wont fix it. I have had 3 pc's do this to me before. The sad thing is only way I have ever fixed it is by reinstalling everything on your pc and on one pc that didn't even work. The thing is it is because the fortnite developers rush out updates so often they aren't tested well enough leading to lots of people having these problems. Sometimes I have not played the game for weeks and when I come back to it it works perfectly as if nothing had happened. Wait for the next update and prey it fixes it.
