I own a Ryzen 5 3600, GTX 1650, Asus Prime a320m-k, and 1 stick of 16GB RAM at 2666MHz. I manage to achieve high FPS, but there are noticeable stutters and frame drops every couple of seconds. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or what might be causing the issues?

Hey there! Are you considering adjusting the graphics settings in the game? Just keep in mind, it won’t improve things much since you’re not using DDR technology, which can actually reduce your system’s performance. This might be connected to any stuttering issues you're experiencing.

Typical problem when using one channel because of insufficient RAM is swapping to a 16GB stick and receiving a 2x8GB kit at 3000MHz or better, or obtaining a second stick.

Using two 8GB RAM modules at 3200MHz will give you dual-channel memory, boosting performance. Your Ryzen 3600 will also gain a lot from fast RAM speeds (3200MHz). You might also add another stick to complement your existing setup.

Thanks, I'll proceed. It was a prebuild, so I wasn't very familiar with it then.

It's also possible to turn on performance mode in the Fortnite settings, which will boost FPS but may reduce visual quality. If you have the budget, increasing your RAM is recommended.
