while playing fornite, i'm using an apu that consumes two gb of my 16gb ram. it runs smoothly at 1360x768 resolution with low framerate, around 55-60fps. after playing for about half an hour or so, the game sometimes freezes and crashes when the ram usage exceeds roughly 98-99%. fortnite seems to be using a lot of memory now. no other game i've played has this issue. this problem started around the last two to three weeks of the season. what could cause such high ram consumption? the memory keeps increasing without stopping, and i've turned on the page file just to check. someone with similar specs as mine has the same issue but doesn't experience it.

It seems a recent update led to a Memory Leak in Fortnite, consuming around 1GB of RAM every ten minutes. There’s no solution yet—developers must release a patch or update to address the issue.

Consider using the Intelligent StandBy List Cleaner ISLC and MemReduct.
