I've come back into Fortnite and faced several crashes or freezes within about two hours. This doesn't usually occur in other games I play—maybe just once during a 60-hour session. In Fortnite, the game tends to freeze for at least ten seconds, sometimes longer, with only my computer responding normally. It consistently happens at the start of a round, especially during rocket racing. I've reinstalled Fortnite twice and updated GPU drivers three times.

Dear Logan, I recommend using DDU unistaller and attempt the latest software installation once more. Also, consider disabling any overclocking software if needed. Please let me know, thanks!

It seems like your device is experiencing issues. Three games in and it's freezing.

Usually the issue arises from several reasons. You might consider using the oldest driver available for your GPU. You can also check your BIOS settings and ensure everything is configured properly. Most likely, a technical freeze stems from overclocking the GPU; after resetting everything and removing all customization options, see if that resolves the problem.

No OC, I'll experiment with the bios.

Update your system information to the newest release. If problems persist, consider these steps: Install AMD Ryzen™ Balanced Snappy or AMD Ryzen™ Ultimate Performance power settings. Check if the PC remains stable afterward. Power configurations are available at: https://www.overclock.net/threads/ryzen-...imate-and-... Ensure proper airflow around your VRM and RAM, as insufficient cooling can cause instability. Issues may stem from internal cable extenders in the case or PCIe riser cables, or from a power supply unable to handle full load demands, leading to erratic overclocking.
