Yes, you adjusted the starting IP address to begin at 192.168.369.90 instead of the previous value.

They discovered the device again by referencing the SSD’s serial number. It seems they likely have that information available.

They rely on Battleye only, but none of your other Battleye matches get blocked because Fortnite is allowed.

I don’t own a Fortnite account, so I’m not sure how much data you provide when setting one up. IP addresses are one method of gathering details, but MAC addresses from your router are more likely. They might not be blocked outright, but you can compare them with other information. It’s tough to confirm for sure, as companies usually keep their cheating detection methods private.

No, you don't need to contact the ISP to change the MAC address.

You might wonder what value a free game truly holds, particularly when the development team isn't up to par.

I lease my router, so I’d just ask them to give me a fresh one, right? But if it’s tied to a MAC address, should the kids be blocked from using it properly? And why would Intel keep the same data inside the machine??

AHK appears to be the cause of your bans whenever you create accounts from different IP addresses. The system blocks new accounts if it senses AHK operating in the background. *link removed* Updated April 24, 2018 by wkdpaul

If it were the router's MAC address, the kids shouldn't be able to play correctly, right? Then it would be the local MAC address instead. @ImHyperStyle
