I deleted my Google account from my PC and then formatted the tablet, but didn’t remove it from the device. After formatting, I tried logging in with another account, but the tablet displayed an error: “This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device.” What should I do next?

Start by requesting assistance in locating your account. Follow the provided instructions to navigate through the options and discover a menu where you can create a new account.

Log in using the identical email from your past session. Complete the setup and replace the old email with a new one.

Sign in using the credentials linked to your Google account. You don’t need the account to be active—it confirms you’re the person resetting the device, not an unauthorized user. Unless you’re the thief! /s

Typically, when the device is off, you can press and hold vol+ and power or vol- and power until it boots into recovery options. You’ll likely see an option such as recovery kernel. Selecting it lets you erase all previous user data, giving you a clean start with a fresh factory reset.
