I attempted to join the Windows Insider Preview on my computer recently, and most of the process went smoothly. After assigning my PC to the Slow ring and restarting, I was able to sit back. However, since it's running Windows, some issues arose. Because of the restart, I can't reach the Windows Insider panel in settings, and whenever my PC checks for updates—whether automatically or manually—it always restarts. It takes more than half an hour without a restart, and altering the update check settings only triggers another reboot. Right now I'm not there to offer solutions, but any suggestions other than a full reinstall would be appreciated.

Avoid setting up Windows Insider on your regular device. That error happened before, and now the best option is a full reinstall. You won’t be able to return to the standard Windows 10 version afterward.

I have before, and to be honest, I have never had the crippling problems many have had. And yes, the only way back is to reinstall, or pull out of insider, wait for release to catch up, then go from there. Ughhhhhhhhh why Microsoft why.

It functioned well for a while, but after attempting to remove a partition it crashed and became unresponsive. Edited January 15, 2020 by Twilight typo

It's time to restart now; this won't be enjoyable otherwise.
