I’d probably pick up a 1600 from a second-hand shop if there’s a good used market nearby.

The choice is between a 2600 or a 3600, it really hinges on your budget, motherboard, and intended purpose. More details would be helpful ^^

I have a budget of 100 to 150 euros and I’m using an Asus TUF B450-PRO for gaming.

I estimate around 2600. Adding 50€ extra could bring it to 3600. Alternatively, look into the used market for options like a 2700x.

I believe I should opt for a 2600 because I don’t have much cash left.

A new model measuring 2700x costs around 180€, so perhaps a used version could be a good option at a reasonable price.
