My car runs perfectly with your B450 for the 2600X. The ASRock B450 Pro4 (rev.1) gives great stability.

This HDMI connection isn't compatible with your CPU; you must link your screen to a GPU. Your current board might be functioning, but you'll need a GPU to show an image.

I plan to pull out a card tomorrow and give it a good shake before exploring other options.

I've installed an older AMD RADEON R5 340X C870 with 2GB DDR3 in my B450 gaming board, but I still don’t have a display. I’m using a DP to HDMI converter, though I’m not sure it’s helping. I’m planning to remove everything and store it away, lol. The build is solid, and I have a Ryzen 3 2600X with a Wraith cooler, plus an AMD RADEON R5 340X 2GB DDR3 (temp) and 8GB DDR4 RAM. It won’t connect to the drives, but it should work eventually. The only issue is no signal at all—ugh!

You're connecting the monitor to either the motherboard or the GPU. When power is applied, do any fans activate or spin? Which power supply are you using and what connectors are attached to the GPU? What type of motherboard are you employing? Edit: Based on the link you shared, it seems to be the Gigabyte B450 Aorus M. Are any debug lights illuminating? The number 22 in this photo is noted.

It's a gigabyte AB550 gaming board. Connected to the GPU, the motherboard lights up and the GPU lights up while the fans start spinning upon booting. The PSU draws 500 watts.

This thread remains active. It looks like revision 1 of the motherboard lacked debug LEDs, whereas more recent models include them in the lower-right corner near the front panel connectors and the bottom SATA port. Does your version have this feature?
