I've been enjoying Honor since they began releasing invites for testing (like Alpha 7). The open beta is coming soon, but unfortunately it's a game that doesn't match what I hoped for—a sword-wielding knight battling someone in real-time. It's similar to Chivalry but far less engaging. I won't be part of it, and I don't intend to buy the game. While there are duel modes, playing with more than one person turns into chaotic team battles where you're quickly overwhelmed by four players. It ruined what could have been a strong team-based experience into a chaotic player mash. Disappointing, but I won't play it again, especially after months of use.

Initial error involves assuming PC gamers are respectful and display strong sportsmanship among every group. Another misjudgment is believing everyone follows the rules, such as in BF/CoD where players use snipers and shooters positionally.

I made my initial error believing you'd give thoughtful feedback. Actually, I completely understand—just hope the game had tighter controls in that area. Have you tried playing it yet?

I spent a lot of time this morning, but it looks like more players (including those you mentioned) are appearing now. This feels like the main approach for winning, which makes me question my overall perspective on PC gaming as a whole when competitive play shifts to team-based formats.

I've been testing it for a while now—it's a fun event. Better if it lets you join others without getting hit by them.

This was definitely a wake-up call. My frustration is real. Everyone seems scattered across the map, barely engaging. I’d only play this post beta if I could secure the remaining spots on my team.

I believe this should address many of the balance problems in the beta. The classes don’t come across as too dominant, though the game becomes less effective when you rely on strong defense rather than teamwork.

Absolutely, it wouldn't disrupt the experience. It might even encourage more direct fights since players wouldn't want someone isolated while pushing. It could also turn into a tactic where you tie up one opponent and then attempt to advance without being caught by another. Great point—this is the 500th post!

I appreciate the design elements and visual flair, but the gameplay feels lacking in teamwork. Unlike other titles where solo play is common, Dominion demands collaboration but often lacks communication. While 1v1, 1v2, or 2v2 sessions are enjoyable, anything beyond that tends to become disorganized. Some players act independently, while others face immediate pressure from coordinated attacks. I’ve experienced several close encounters where teammates were overwhelmed or left vulnerable, making it hard to secure a win.
