Following the Windows update there is still no display on screens
My computer ran smoothly yesterday and I powered it up today to find only one monitor active with a very slow frame rate. The NVIDIA control panel and display drivers weren’t loading. Old discussion boards hinted at a driver problem, so I tried reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers. I found a download for uninstalling drivers but had to restart first. After rebooting, it attempted a Windows update, but neither monitor is working now—they both show no signal. I’m certain the PC started because the Windows sound alert appeared on the desktop. PC model: Windows 10, ASUS GTX 1080 TI, Display Port, 2x ASUS TUF Monitors.
I've checked using DP/HDMI on every GPU and motherboard port, but no signal appears. Other communities suggest checking Device Manager or booting in safe mode, though I can't see any details. Please let me know.
The problem fixed itself after I stopped using the PC for a short time and restarted, then tried a different display cable. I’m still a bit puzzled since I had it off for some time to reinstall the GPU and memory. Reboot until it works again, thanks!
