Hi, three weeks ago I swapped out my x570 motherboard due to issues. I upgraded to the x870 and also changed my RAM and CPU. Windows didn’t prompt for activation, but I haven’t linked my PC to the internet yet. If Windows asks for activation, what should I do? My system is Windows 10 Pro Retail with a product key, and I don’t recall setting up a Microsoft account.

As a retail key, you should be able to enter the product key again, which will enable it on the new hardware. Be mindful of the OEM licenses because they might be restricted to certain boards.
