I just switched to Windows 11, but it wasn’t working until I played Valorant. It asked me to enable secure boot and TPM 2.0. After that, I went to BIOS, turned on secure boot, saved the changes, and the screen went dark. When I tried to turn it back on, the fans and RGB lights stayed on. I reset the CMOS battery and changed the jumper, but nothing fixed it. What might be happening? How can I resolve this?

I configured my system with an Aorus Z390 Pro i7-9700K, 32GB RAM, RTX 2070 Super, and a discrete GPU. I also attempted a GPU swap, but the display remains unavailable.

Have you attempted to start the system without the SSD/HDD while the OS is running? It will power on but request installation. During boot, you might be able to verify that secure boot is turned off in the BIOS, even though setting CMOS should handle this?

Check if your setup uses a display port. Usually port priority is DVI first, then HDMI, then DP. Try switching to HDMI, but your monitor isn’t recognized in the BIOS due to secure boot settings when using the display port connection.

Begin with a fresh setup. Power off the system and disconnect it from the wall. Disconnect all USB peripherals such as the mouse and keyboard. Remove the GPU. Unplug the SATA cable for any SSD or HDD. Wipe the CMOS on the motherboard. Discharge the battery. Restart the PC without connecting the power supply. Verify the PSU connections to the motherboard. Connect to a wall outlet. Attempt to boot from the bareboard. Do not plug anything in. Wait for power and display to appear. The monitor should remain connected since no GPU will be installed at this stage.
