Following Memory Under Clock, the screen becomes black!
I was experimenting with some configurations while downclocking my CPU, since I saw the temperature rising...
[Note I'm using an Eluktronik Gaming PC, equipped with a GTX 1060, Core i7, 128gb SSD, and 8gbs of RAM]
But after I accidentally applied most of the overclocking adjustments on the built-in software at low settings, when I restarted the machine the screen wouldn't turn on and the laptop shut down quickly. Can anyone assist me?
Please give us the precise name of the PC or laptop, or the model number... Did you adjust the voltages or just the clockspeed/multiplier? I suspect I also changed a voltage value, although I didn't increase anything. It's an Eluktro Pro Notebook, Model P650RP.
If you didn't increase it, there should have been no damage to the CPU...
Consider removing the Battery (if possible with this model) and then press the "Start" Button a few times before waiting a while...
Some Laptops don't have a Bios Battery... if you're lucky, you might be able to delete your bios settings this way...
Once you wait, plug the battery back in and try to boot
Happy to confirm it functions properly and appreciate your info.
