Focus on non-OC motherboard options
I haven't used a non-Intel Z motherboard before. Overclocking isn't possible there either. Underclocking, reducing voltage, and turning off cores should be unavailable too. I'm curious if that's the case for the 365B MOBO.
It's been some time since I checked this topic, but I think adjustments depend on each board model, similar to how bclk works on Z-series boards. You usually can't change the multiplier, so underclocking isn't feasible. Voltage tweaks are typically handled by the board itself, though many H series and B series boards don't support this feature. Turning off cores seems more common, but again, it varies by model. Check the manual of the board you're interested in to see if BIOS settings reveal available options.
Based on my experience, it works pretty well with an older board running a homelab setup. The Intel 4000 series i5 handles it fine. I was able to disable cores to conserve power, but the savings were minimal—under one watt. So I turned them back on just in time.
