FO4?
Let me test it first. If you enjoy it, go ahead and purchase it.
Do this but stay focused and keep experimenting. If you appreciate what the creators built, back them and purchase the game once you feel it meets your expectations.
Jesus, why are we missing a Fallout 4 megathread right now? PC Gaming is swamped with FO4 discussions every day. No, don't take it seriously. It's a poor Fallout title, a shallow RPG, and a solid shooter. Four dialogue choices. This makes roleplaying nearly impossible. You can't resolve problems using your intelligence or science, or anything like that. Voice acting MC. While fine for games without RP focus, it ruins the feeling of becoming your own character. Skills turn into perks. Want to pick that lock? Sadly, level up that perk. Game is buggy and small in scope. Most activities are just questing and exploration. Roleplaying isn't really a priority here. Settlements work, but the game could have been much better. Modding tools are decent. I enjoyed trying to change things through min-maxing.
My friend gave it to me. I really enjoy it, especially since it's the first Fallout game I've played. Compared to the older versions, I can't comment much, and I wasn't the biggest player on RPGs, but this one has really captured my interest. I always play it whenever I can.
The map size matches other games but offers greater detail and density. There are additional activities beyond exploration and quests, such as managing settlements. Your thoughts on the dialogue feel more conversational and you’d prefer it to resemble the original experience.
Certainly. Initially the map appeared smaller this time, though I think it really is. Once you arrive in Boston, the game challenges you with locations and quests. Those who complain about it haven't played any Bethesda titles before. Fallout4 shares similar flaws as all Bethesda games, yet it also offers solid strength and some interesting features. Yes, the roleplaying aspect isn’t strong, but as an explorer I’m satisfied the experience is top-notch.
