Hello everyone! This problem has been present since the start when I set up my computer about two months ago. The forum was really useful and I’m deeply thankful for that. To clarify more: Only when playing Vermintide 2 and Anno 1800 do I experience these very fast horizontal flashes on my screen. The line is just about 2 cm thick, it doesn’t reach the edges of the display, and the color seems random. The timing is around 15 seconds, but in the worst case it can last up to 20 minutes. Other games I’ve tried—like RDR 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, and DOOM—don’t seem to trigger this issue, and lighter titles such as Rocket League, Guild Wars 2, and Deep Rock Galactic also don’t. Even after updating my BIOS and GPU drivers, the problem continues. Notably, all my components are less than two months old: Windows 10 Home, Intel 12th Gen i5-12600kf (3.7GHz), ASUS 6700xt (Kinda worried about the ASUS brand), and an Enermax Revolution D.F. 650W power supply (80+ Gold certified, fully modular ATX). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and I’ll answer any questions promptly.

It could be a display cable problem. Have you checked and replaced the cables?

Yes, there are steps you can take. You'll need to understand what DDU means before proceeding.

Thanks for the update! I've tested various ports, including DP and HDMI, but the issue remains. I switched to another monitor, but the problem continues. I'm curious if it occurs in windowed mode and what that might mean. Not sure if this helps yet.
