Possibly, 1440p is overkill, and those who suggested you were achieving 300-400 frames per second with inferior equipment might be exaggerating. With an i7 6700k processor and a GTX 1070 graphics card on a 1080p/240Hz monitor, I didn’t bother optimizing the settings for peak performance while maintaining over 240FPS; instead, I simply configured everything to the medium setting, and it delivered an additional 240FPS.
Some individuals are reporting frame rates of 300 to 400 with equipment inferior to mine, which leads me to question its quality.
