I have a 1080ti SLI configuration and experienced low GPU2 usage right after launching Apex Legends. Then consider this: I remember a similar situation before...
TITANFALL 2.
The standard SLI profile Nvidia uses for the game is quite poor in terms of GPU utilization. Perhaps a future driver update will improve it, but for now you can try these steps:
1. Get Nvidia Inspector from https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvi...nload.html
2. Unzip all files into a folder of your choice
3. Open nvidiaprofileinspector.exe as administrator
4. In the settings window, under the driver version section, click on the Profiles bar at the top and find Apex Legends. Since no profile is set yet, it will be labeled with its directory path, like:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex Legends\r5apex.exe
5. On the SLI compatibility section, click on the SettingValue (it should default to 0x00000000) and adjust it to match.
6. After saving, click Apply and the changes should take effect!
This improved my FPS significantly without any problems so far.
Tell me if this works for you or not—I’m interested!
P.S. Apologies for the low quality screenshots; I’m not using my home PC but just recalling the instructions from memory.

Hi there!
Just wanted to say thank you for your help. I've been having some issues and trying to fix things for the past couple of days. This update really made a difference—both GPUs are now in sync, and I'm seeing around 80-100 fps now, which is a big improvement from the 20-40 fps I was getting before. Thanks again! You're amazing.

Hi there,
I'm glad I could assist! The significant improvement in FPS is impressive. Could you tell me which GPU you're running?

Created an account too for this, really appreciate it from 60 to 120 fps.
Also, EVGA 970 SSC with SLI.

80-100 fps might have been a bit off (in the practice area). Still maintaining a solid 60-80fps in the game. I have two old 680 cards, and they're still functioning surprisingly well given how old they are.

Hey, I had a similar issue too. When trying to find Apex in the game list it doesn't appear. Can I add a profile or something to make it show? I noticed three different Apex entries but none labeled "Apex Legends." Thanks for your help!

I'm facing some issues with this fix. I don't understand how to find the game using the profile selector. It doesn't have a clear name like "Apex Legends," and I can't locate its file path. I've tried making a new profile, picking up the "r5apex.exe" file, and adjusting its compatibility settings, but only about 20-25 frames per second appear in the menu. It seems the profile settings might be using default values that don't match the game. I'm not sure how to proceed since my selector only shows predefined profiles with the game names. Any advice would be helpful.
Searching for the filepath hasn't worked either.

Hello again,
I plan to export my profile for Apex, and I hope it works for everyone. Keep in mind that G-SYNC is active in the profile—so if you don’t have or use gsync, turn it off.
Refer to the screenshot to import the profile.
Good luck

It didn't work for me either. I had two GTX 1080 graphics cards and still managed around 10 frames per second in menus and games. I also imported an SLI profile and created my own. If anyone else has had success with a different setup, feel free to share.
