Lately, I’ve experienced sporadic performance drops in Roblox, despite the game's frame rate counter indicating stable performance. The gameplay occasionally freezes momentarily and then resumes, or the lagging persists for extended periods. I’ve attempted troubleshooting by restarting my internet router and reinstalling the application, but these efforts have been unsuccessful. My computer is relatively new and powerful – a GeForce 1070 graphics card paired with an Intel i7-8700k processor and 16 GB of RAM – so I’m unsure what might be causing these problems. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding your video card’s performance, I believe the problem lies with your power supply. It's unlikely that a faulty PSU would result in minor glitches within a game; you’d likely experience far more significant issues. I don't grasp why it’s so frequently assumed that the power supply is to blame for any PC problem, perhaps as a way to shift responsibility onto you—suggesting that you either lacked knowledge when assembling your computer, or that someone else constructed it improperly. The operating system might be responsible, potentially due to automated updates or installations that could trigger difficulties.

I’ve recently resolved a recurring problem of unexpected pauses and interruptions while playing games, though I'm unsure of the precise steps I took to fix it. Have you considered turning off unnecessary programs running in the background? I deactivated numerous services, and removing each one not only resolved the frame drops during my video games but also stopped my computer’s ‘device manager’ display from repeatedly updating. Therefore, I recommend beginning with this approach: search for “services” to open the application. Thoroughly investigate each service’s purpose before disabling it, ensuring you don't cause any system instability. After disabling all superfluous services, completely power down your computer and then restart it to observe if the stuttering has been removed. This process likely addressed my persistent gaming interruptions.

Regarding your video game performance, he’s suggesting a problem with your power supply. It’s unlikely that a faulty PSU would be the root cause of stuttering; you'd likely experience much more severe issues. I find it peculiar that people frequently blame the power supply as a potential cause for nearly every technical difficulty, almost as if they’re trying to shift blame onto you—perhaps implying that you weren't knowledgeable about PC construction, or that someone else assembled your system. Alternatively, the operating system itself might be responsible, particularly if it’s running unnecessary services attempting to update or install software, which can certainly lead to complications.
