Fixed it!
I experienced some internet problems and reset both routers, checking all the settings without making major changes. It turned out the modem had a larger MTU and the router a smaller one. Additionally, my parent crosses their legs and their feet often tug at the cables, so we repositioned them to avoid damage. This should have resolved the issue and restored a stable connection.
