Experienced a power outage yesterday. Turned off the laptop, restarted it when power returned. Contacted my partner via Skype; everything seemed fine. The mouse displayed an hourglass repeatedly. We went to sleep. Upon waking, the laptop froze during a Skype video call. Restarted it, but it still showed no sound. Advised using headphones or a speaker. Performed system updates, which prompted a restart and stuck in MSI LOGO with a message about installing an update. The issue persisted since 11 AM, lasting until around 1 PM. Pressed power button to return to the desktop, but audio remained absent. Launched Dragon Center, which appeared as an unknown publisher and failed to boot. Attempted a system restore, but no backup was found. Restarted the laptop again, which returned to MSI LOGO with the same message. Need help resolving this so I can use the laptop for video calls with my partner. Photos available upon request.
