Hey there, friends. After setting up Windows 10, I ran into a tough issue with the Security Upgrade KB3074683 on my SP3. After trying everything, I realized something important: I didn’t want to rely on OneDrive or any Microsoft services. So I deleted the OneDrive folder from my user’s directory. It seemed minor at first, but it stopped OneDrive completely. Without it, the update would crash repeatedly, requiring constant redownloads. I tried fixing it by recreating the folder, but it still didn’t work. Then I made a new user and created a fresh OneDrive folder for them—it functioned perfectly. Still, the update kept failing. In short, I need one of these solutions: either a tool to reinstall or reset OneDrive easily, or a way to back up my settings and files before updating so I can restore later without losing anything. It’s like trying to fix a broken app by deleting its files—risky and not ideal.
