my friends computer received an automatic Windows 10 Creator update, but he didn’t like it. I assisted him in restoring his earlier Windows 10 version through Star > Settings > Updates & Security > Recovery > Go Back to Earlier Build – this worked for me when my PC was updated to the Creator update. However, his machine has reverted back, and he reports that nothing functions properly; he can’t click or open anything. He tried a hard restart using the power button, but it only auto-updated again without fixing the issue. He mentioned he can still use Winkey+R to access certain features. Is there a solution other than a factory reset to resolve this?
