The problem isn’t a defect within the power supply unit itself; it simply lacks sufficient capacity when attempting to operate resource-intensive applications like video games. You can send it to a repair center at Best Buy or Micro Center, and technicians will likely assess it as functional after testing, concluding that 500 watts is adequate for your needs. This is where my disagreement with these professionals begins, as it contradicts what I learned in my A+ certification course – as illustrated in the image below.

They offer this advice, and subsequently are surprised by repeated customer complaints regarding erratic PC behavior, crashes, and similar issues. It doesn't align with my perspective. Don’t be misled by “gold” or “platinum” designations. When a graphics card suggests a specific wattage to power your entire system, consider that figure as the bare minimum requirement. Your PSU would suffice for basic tasks such as using Microsoft Office. However, when playing video games, the genuinely advised wattage for your power supply is generally around 900 watts or greater.

Power supply rating is unimportant if the performance isn’t satisfactory, as previously noted.
A graphics card might operate effectively with a solid 550W unit, but not one of poor quality for instance.
If you are currently performing hardware troubleshooting (given that fresh installations weren't successful), beginning steps include running these tests:
Memory:
https://www.sysnative.com/forums/threads...t86.24300/
Storage:
https://www.sysnative.com/forums/threads...test.4072/
Processor:
https://www.sysnative.com/forums/th...nd...ipdt.3908/
Power Supply:
https://www.sysnative.com/forums/threads...-psu.4061/
Keep in mind that these tests aren't definitive; passing a test doesn’t necessarily indicate the component is functioning correctly. A complete replacement and retesting are needed to genuinely identify the faulty part.
