Hey there, I bought a new i3 10105f and a Gigabyte Z590 gaming X. I assembled my PC using the latest components, replacing my old PSU, GPU, and RAM. When I power on the machine, it beeps five times. I’m not sure what that means and feel a bit worried if something went wrong. Could you help me out quickly? Thanks!

The computer starts up normally, but it only emits five beeps when it encounters an issue. This behavior is noted in a post about problems occurring if the monitor isn’t powered on before booting.

Check for a visible LED on the motherboard that displays letters and numbers. It should be a bright red indicator.

The CPU fans rotate, the mainboard illuminates, and after roughly eight seconds it emits a beep.

This guide appears useful for Z390 and Z590 models. If you see just five beeps with no additional information, it might become more challenging to diagnose because there’s no clear sound output.
