First time working with artifacts?
I played Yakuza Kiwami for four hours, then it began artifacting. I couldn't use alt tab or anything, so I turned off my PC, restarted it, and it stopped again. Should I be concerned? Or could this just be overheating because it gets very hot in Australia? My PC is only a year old with a 7800 XT, the GPU is already overclocked, and I haven't changed any settings.

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

You state that you'd performed an overclock, did you undervolt it as well? If yes, try upping the voltage a little.

What sort of ambient room air temps are you seeing? Use HWInfo to tell you both idle and load temps.
The ambient room temperature should be near 33 degrees Celsius, while my GPU reached 71 degrees Celsius. The CPU model is 7700x, paired with an H100i liquid cooler. The motherboard is an MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7D75). I have 32GB of DDR5 Trident GSKill RAM at 6000ms speed. The GPU is an ASUS Dual Radeon™ RX 7800 XT OC Edition with 16GB GDDR6 memory. The power supply is a Gigabyte UD750GM 80+ Gold 750W modular unit, and the chassis is unknown. The operating system is Windows 11. I use an Asus TUF 27in WQHD 170Hz G-Sync IPS monitor (VG27AQ1A), with stock BIOS version 1.0. The PSU is about a year old, roughly ten months old. The card was overclocked.

This is the initial BIOS release. It's recommended to upgrade the BIOS to the most recent version, then reset the CMOS and check if the problem continues.
When updating the BIOS, ensure you're using the latest chipset drivers for your motherboards (available from AMD's support site) and proceed to flash the BIOS to version 7D75v1O.
Yes, you can use the same USB stick you previously used to install Windows, but you must remove all existing Windows installation files from it.
