Hello,
I almost completed assembling my new PC, and only the power supply unit is left.
I have a Ryzen 7 9800x3d CPU, an X870 tomahawk motherboard, 64GB DDR5 RAM, a Noctua NH-D15 cooler, a RTX 5080 GPU, and a Lian Lee LAN Cooling 216 case.

I have a question that has been on my mind for about six hours now, and I’d appreciate some advice.
In my country, the two best options in terms of price and performance for an ATX 3.1 PSU are the 1stPlayer NGDP 1000W ATX 3.1 fully modular model or the BeQuiet Pure Power 12 non-modular 1000W ATX 3.1. Both are around 140E.
Other reliable brands like Seasonic and Corsair have models in the 220E to 300E range, but they usually take longer to ship—often more than a week.
I also came across a review on https://hwbusters.com/psus/1st-player-ng...su-review/, which mentions that this unit is quite solid and even got a high score in the PSU database after an upgrade to a better fan.
Both units are Gold rated, though there are some reported concerns about the Pure Power model (such as Taiwanese capacitors instead of Japanese ones, shorter and stiffer cables, and occasional coil whine). On the 1stPlayer I haven’t found any issues yet.
Each PSU comes with a 10-year warranty, and I don’t plan to upgrade my PC in the next 4-5 years—most likely, the PSU will be replaced for a larger one anyway.

Should I go with the 1stPlayer PSU to feel confident it will work well and protect my components during power outages, or should I choose the non-modular Pure Power 12 and try to manage the cables carefully given the case size?
I’d appreciate more opinions on this.
Thank you.

The person behind the first player actually comes from Thailand or Indonesia, though he began with modding cases. I think it's better to choose units and stop here. With a 10-year warranty on any unit you select, you should expect good service, no matter what happens—this is not due to user error but a manufacturing defect.
Right now, I'm leaning toward the 1stPlayer PSU, but I'd appreciate hearing more opinions on this.

The first player stands out as the superior choice, referencing the article at the provided link. A non-modular Pue Power 12 is essentially comparable to the Pure Power 12M, with differences mainly in modularity and ATX3 variants. The first player is a brand from Helly, a prominent Chinese OEM that continues to improve its offerings, producing PSUs for brands like Seasonic, Antec, Phanteks, and others.
