It seems unusual under heavy usage that this thread remains stable, especially since it hasn't been overclocked before. No clear cause identified yet. Should I reinstall the BIOS or apply an update? Also, the PC needs a 7-day grace period after restarting, and the issue persists even after restarting. Specs: ROG B450-F CPU, Ryzen 5 3600, 2x 8GB 3200MHz RAM, RX 5700 XT for gaming, GTX 1660 for encoding, Windows 10 Pro.

It's unusual. If the core fails, the thread likely stops too. Probably just the thread, not the core. This is the first time I've encountered something like this.

Consider refreshing the bios if you're using an older model. Also, does it include a warranty? You might want to replace it with a newer version.

Removing the second GPU might affect performance, as one thread could be reserved for streaming tasks. It’s possible it would still run if you actually stream, but it feels a bit questionable, so it’s best to disable the 'encoding gpu' temporarily.
