Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Pleas stylize your thread with info stated in this thread; *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice First off, respect where respect is due - this is an adaptation of the Animal's *How To Ask For New Build Advice* Sticky. I created this because there's a lot of posts nowadays asking for upgrade advice both on here and on the CPU forums, and I feel... forums. A PCPartPicker link would help us, inclusive of your location, your budget and your preferred site for purchase.

The setup you have is not compatible because it combines an AMD motherboard with an Intel CPU. I wouldn’t purchase an Intel 10th gen processor unless it offered a significant discount in your area. The AM4 socket provides more flexibility compared to the older LGA1200 socket for 10th/11th gen models. Boards and chips compatible with LGA1700 and later generations are also preferable. The i5-12400F would be a more suitable option. Currently, US prices favor AMD products.

PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor – $98.00 (Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock B550M Phantom Gaming 4 Micro ATX AM4 – $89.99 (Newegg)
Memory: Silicon Power GAMING 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 – $34.97 (Amazon)
Video Card: PowerColor Fighter Radeon RX 6600 8 GB – $194.99 (Amazon)
Case: Cougar MX330-X ATX Mid Tower – $45.99 (Newegg)
Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 600 W (80+ Gold Certified ATX) – $64.98 (Amazon)
Total: $528.92 (shipping, taxes, and available discounts included)
