Alright people so I have a fairly unique issue and I know little to nothing about networking, and I desperately need help. Allow me to explain my situation... a few hours ago I decided I would like to go on omegle and while my laptop integrated camera showed myself, it was only to me and I couldn't load the other person's feed. Naturally the tech enthusiast in me wanted to rectify the issue and so I started to diagnose my issue(s), and boy howdy did I have some. My first issue is that my "internet connection" is provided by my absolute champion of a flip phone that supports usb tether, so needless to say my connection is pretty unstable at the best of times. So at this point I have deduced that my second issue is my nat type being restricted (I literally just found out what that is). And I got as far as changing ip conig numerals but I am halted at dmz info. Now keep in mind I troubleshooted other problems before the NAT type issue adblocker, cookies, vpn etc. So please someone help a mere network novice?

Mobile networks frequently employ CG-NAT on their side, which can limit your options. Tethering often relies on NAT on the phone, preventing direct access to settings like port forwarding or DMZ configuration. That’s why many video chat apps now connect through cloud servers instead of allowing users to communicate directly.
