Hi there, I’m looking for some assistance. I just purchased a TR 2950x with an Aorus Xtreme motherboard, but my RAM isn’t showing the 3200MHz speed even after changing the XMP profile in BIOS. It seems it’s reverting to the default setting after a few tries. I updated the BIOS to the latest version. I have 64GB of RAM installed on both systems, and everything looks the same except for the CPU. When I click on memory, it displays dual channel, but I have four DIMMs and it shows 64GB overall.

Here’s the part list I found:

Price details by seller:

CPU: AMD - Threadripper 2950X 3.5 GHz 16-Core Processor ($879.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Wraith Ripper 76.4 CFM CPU Cooler ($119.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte - X399 AORUS XTREME EATX TR4 Motherboard ($428.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill - TridentZ RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($472.92 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill - TridentZ RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($472.92 @ Amazon)
Storage: ADATA - XPG SX8200 Pro 512 GB M.2-2280 SSD ($114.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Zotac - GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB Video Card ($529.99 @ B&H)
Power Supply: SeaSonic - PRIME Gold 850 W (80+ Gold Certified, Fully-Modular ATX) ($)

Total cost comes to $3019.79, including shipping, taxes, and any available discounts. This information was generated by PCPartPicker on January 7, 2019 at 05:47 EST.

When using the newest BIOS version, pay attention to the details on the label of your RAM module. Apply those specifics to enter the correct frequency, clock speeds, and voltage settings manually. After saving your changes, you should be able to configure it for DDR4-3200MHz.

If you're using the newest BIOS, pay attention to the details on your RAM stick label. Use that data to enter the frequency, clock speeds, and voltage settings yourself. Save the changes and exit; you should be able to reach DDR4-3200MHz. Thanks for the advice—I'll definitely give it a shot tonight. Also, do you happen to have any YouTube videos or articles on this topic?

If you're using the newest BIOS, pay attention to the details on your RAM stick label. Use that data to enter the frequency, clock speed, and voltage manually for the RAM. Save and close, and you should be able to reach DDR4-3200MHz.
Currently it runs at 2933mhz but not 3200mhz.
In cpuz it displays dual channel memory, refer to the images for more info. Hope this helps you understand the problem. Also, this is the RAM model I have, I’m unsure how to adjust the timing settings.
