Hello everyone, I encountered some blue screen issues and suspected there was an issue with my RAM. I have a 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) with two 8GB sticks in dual channel. After testing them together with Memtest86, I found errors. When tested individually, one stick had problems while the other worked fine. I’m not sure if Corsair will accept a warranty claim since I don’t have the receipt. So I decided to keep the good 8GB stick and replace it with another new one. My memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4-3000MHz (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) and the only 8GB 3000MHz stick I found was the 8GB version from Corsair, which has a different code name (D3000 vs B3000), 15 PCIe slots versus 16, and it’s the only one I could locate. Will I face issues with this new stick, or should I buy two? Thanks for your help!
