Find your Windows XP installation media.
So I have an HP zv5240us laptop here that I bought on the cheap (I'm at least the third owner) and want to offload. It's got a Windows XP license and installed, but there's no recovery partition or factory reset program I can find, and the recovery disks themselves weren't with the PC. Oh, also, the 60GB hard drive is at least 40% pictures of the woman who apparently owned the laptop first prancing around naked and giving her then-boyfriend blowjobs, so I'm really tired of looking around the HDD for a recovery partition and instead finding pictures of tits taken through a camera with a thin, slimy white filter over the lens. Wipe your f*cking laptop before you sell it, people. Anyway, given that I am officially done trying to tiptoe through the porn-loaded minefield that is this woman's hard drive in hopes of finding a recovery program or disk image from 2005, is there anywhere that I can get my hands on Windows XP install media for a Pentium 4 and just bleach the hard drive on install with it?
Searching online for "Windows XP 32/64 bit ISO" will help locate the information you need. Do you already have a license key for it?
I searched for it and discovered an official Microsoft download... Just pay close attention, that’s all.
