Hello. I’m trying to figure out my WLAN setup after moving. I have one router from my provider and three Google Wi-Fi access points. I was planning to place two in the main apartment and one in the other, connecting two of them to the router. I thought I could create two separate networks or one network with two of the three Google routers connected via cable. The app said I couldn’t connect two with cable and make two networks. Is this possible? Are there any issues I’m missing? Thanks!

I think the Google Wi-Fi doesn't have network backend support, which means you can't complete that section. You might want to try this approach—(this is just a guess, I don’t own them or have tested it).

1. Install your two Wi-Fi mesh devices in the left building. Then disconnect them entirely (disable power).
2. Perform a factory reset on the third Wi-Fi if it was already connected to the others.
3. Plug the third device directly into your router in the left building.
4. In the Google app, create a new home and set up the third mesh as an independent unit.
5. After it works, remove the third device, restart the first two, then connect the third using Ethernet in the right apartment.

Wow, I finally understood the answer thanks to you! The note from "Google Home" mentioned I can't have two networks on one router, but that's not accurate. I can't have separate networks from a single router in the same "Home," though creating different ones works. It seems confusing, but it makes sense. They might have missed mentioning this during setup.
