I really don’t understand, just adjust the dial and test until it feels right. We can discuss numbers whenever we like, and ultimately the setting that feels most natural is what you should choose.

I switch my mouse DPI settings often. I set it to 1200 while moving and shooting, and 800 when I'm camping.

The DPI adjustment feature is located on the mouse, positioned between and behind the buttons.

I didn’t play any shooters with a controller this morning, just for fun.

I work at 800DPI with 2 in-game sensitivity settings. My mousepad is small, so I’m using 1600eDPI which seems reasonable, but it might be a bit slow since I can’t hold the mouse when aiming for 180. I usually manage around 160.

Just because I adjust the sensitivity slowly to fit the context, giving me a slight advantage.

Whatever works for you. I'm not here to criticize people's approaches. But it's something you can only succeed with in casual or MM settings.

It seems my eDPI changes based on my mood—either 4800 or 9600. Wow, that’s not great.
