Not sure if you can confirm, but just say I'm older. How can I connect my private network over the internet? Also, I'm doing this for fun because I plan to upgrade my network soon. Being able to reach my private network anywhere would be great.

It's surprising how few people can afford to leave their homes these days. As adults, most parents are more inclined to let you manage your own internet. A friend of mine consistently handled his parents' broadband even during his teenage years, simply stating he was the account holder.
