I discovered I’m more comfortable using the mouse and keyboard for aiming, yet I love gaming with a controller for its feedback and familiarity. Can I find a method to combine both for optimal performance?

It's a decent third-party PS3 controller I purchased just for PC gaming. It's actually quite affordable—only 25 CAD.

I’d pair it with my joycons, even though I haven’t managed to get them running on Linux.

You won't achieve the same level of accuracy with a controller, it's simply not feasible. It seems the main issues are the rumble and not relying on a keyboard and mouse. Honestly, sticking with K&M would give you a better feel. The only way to make a controller more precise is adjusting the dead zones, but this depends on the specific controller you're using.

The label on the packaging indicates sixaxis is included, which means it comes with motion control features.

I can't directly access external links or verify product names like "sixaxis." However, you can search for the controller model online using its name or manufacturer details to find official sources and reviews.

https://www.google.com/search?q=doublesh...MWPjoGrcmM There is a picture of it. I do have an 8 bit do controller that is really awesome I just do not use it because no controller grips therefore smaller motors. If you are curious it is the SN 30Pro
