I recently received the metro redux bundle for £10, which was great for the two games. I’m going through 2033 and those flying characters appear, catching me off guard. The problem is that I keep getting killed quickly—throwing a lot of rounds at them, 60 pistol rounds and 100 smg rounds. My aim is solid, but it’s improving as I get used to my new mouse (from rat 7 to g502). Anyway, am I missing something on how to defeat those beasts?
Attempting to retrieve the previous chapter. Experienced a similar issue at the end of the game while climbing on the tower. If you're using the trainer, turn it off. You also faced problems with the trainer in the same location as you did.
Pistol is the best choice because of its powerful caliber. If you find any spike bombs, it will be a single successful hit if you attach one to them.

Best to handle them quietly. I was last active 2033 years back, though I think I recall the tactic well—stealthy approach with a sticky grenade while they’re in place is effective.
Stealth is your ally, but if that doesn’t work, run. The silent pistol with night vision and the air-powered crossbow are really useful. I played Redux 2033 recently—it’s a great game, though I haven’t played it very often yet.
