I helped you purchase and assemble a computer with the specifications you mentioned from 2018-2019. The build included a GB GeForce RTX 2070, an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core processor, 32GB DDR4 RAM at 3000MHz, an ATX motherboard from Corsair, a 550W ATX power supply with deepcool cooling, a Tesseract BF ATX mid-tower case, and storage drives. After moving from Ontario to California, I faced issues with performance, crashes, and slow boot times. The monitor broke, the hard drive wouldn’t initialize, and the system felt sluggish. I’ve tried cleaning up space but the disk usage remains high. Right now I can’t afford a new graphics card, so I’m focusing on fixing the monitor, resolving the hard drive problem, and getting professional help. There are many free steps you can take yourself. If your drive is making noise, it could be a sign the heads are misplaced and the drive needs replacement. Try a Clean Boot to see if that resolves the problem. If it does, you can either keep using it or add more services until the issue disappears, helping you identify the cause. For system updates, upgrade your case rather than upgrading your computer model—opt for a higher-capacity one instead of the current model. Also, ensure you have a good power supply; at least 750 Watts is recommended, especially if you plan to run a powerful GPU. Building a new machine might be simpler and more cost-effective.
