It's not a good idea to use a dual-core processor in 2015. Far Cry 4 wouldn't even work.

Besides Far Cry 4, and provided your CPU performs well on a single core, it’s a superior choice compared to a slower quad-core when you’re just playing games. Check the benchmarks.
