Hello, I need Windows 10 version 1803 installed from the update panel settings. The latest auto check is available but that’s it. Can I force a reinstall to get 1809? Should I wait? Are there any options for a quick setup without formatting or using a USB installation again?

It hasn't been officially launched for the public just yet, but a new version is coming soon.

Expect the fix between early and mid November. Microsoft is in the last stages of testing this version after being moved earlier in the month. The change was removed because a new feature in Windows 10 that many users disliked—users could vanish their data during upgrades—was added. Windows 10 1809 The clever trickster! Mastered by Houdini (though seriously, some users lost their data permanently). Microsoft created a free recovery service for those impacted to try and recover as much info as possible. Now it’s resolved, and they’re running big tests, sharing the update with Insider members to catch any remaining issues.

For a complete refresh, consider joining the Insider program or installing the latest ISO file and updating it yourself.
